Charlotte SA Conference

What is the age range?

Single Adults (SA) in the church are those 31 years of age and older

(All divorces must be final). However, we do not discriminate against anyone

younger than 31 as long as you are close to that age and interested in

interacting with those who are 31 and older. Otherwise, please attend the 

YSA (Young Single Adults ages 18-30) activities and conferences.

Extended Stay America--Charlotte East McCullough Dr.

 

Will there be any member housing?

Limited, some single adults have offered bed space to those that can not afford a local hotel, this space is limited. Please request member housing in comments section of the registration form (if needed), the cut off date for requests is April 8, 2017.

 

Will food be provided?

Yes, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Saturday for those that have paid for the full conference.   If you have allergies or any specific food requests, please indict it on the registration form. After church services on Sunday, leftovers will be available for a take-home lunch.

 

 

What does our $35 go toward?  

We are providing four meals, , entertainment before Saturday's dance, 

refreshments, and decorations.

 

Can I pay at the door?

Yes but it is recommended that you still mail in your registration form

so we can get a good count on the number that will be attending.

 

What if I can’t afford the cost?  

We encourage you to ask your Bishop.  Many wards will help anyone

who cannot afford the cost of the conference.

 

Can we pay for just the dances? 

Yes, the Dance only Friday or Saturday is $5 each. Dinner is not included. 

 

Can I request a song to be played at one of the dances?

Yes, requests can be made ahead of time by sending an email to schoony_con@yahoo.com.

 

How do I register for the conference?  

Please see the Registration Page of this website for registration information. Please register so we know how many people to expect.

 

How many people do we expect to attend?  

Last year we had over 200 people.  They came from all over North and South Carolina, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and more! We hope to have even more this year!
